What is the RC&D? The Green Hills Resource Conservation and Development Council (RC&D) is engineered to assist in the use of the natural resource base and enhance rural development in our nine county area. RC&D areas are locally organized, sponsored and directed. They provide a way for people to work together to plan and carry out activities that will make their community a better place to live. Once a concern or problem is identified, and the evaluation of alternatives and potentials is made. RC&D assistance can be provided where the greatest need is shown. RC&D's purpose is to be a means for achieving the goal.
